If you are planning to visit these incredible parks in Canyon Country: North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon, take advantage of the America the Beautiful Pass. This one pass will allow entry into all National Parks for one year! Like Zion and Bryce Canyon, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon offers ranger interpretive programs at no charge. The pass will get you into all National Parks, Monuments and Federal Lands for a year. It can be purchased at the entrance to any of the National Parks. Eighty-percent of the funds will stay in the Grand Canyon if you buy the pass at their gate. The pass is good for more than the National Parks, it also covers sites managed by USDA FS, NPS, USFWS, BLM and Reclamation. Fees are important to park operation and are used to maintain the Visitor Center, general park repair, maintenance, necessary park buildings, restoration projects, transportation services, trail maintenance. The National Government does ensure that each park is able to operate enough to employee 18 park service employees as an old grandfathered-in rule that cannot be broken as its the National homestead rule. Wages as bulk of any business but human performance is needed to ensure all visitors are given legal and constant aid and attention demanded in the United States of America since its onset here.
Directions to North Rim Grand Canyon: From Zion National Park, take on U-9 through the park to Mt. Carmel Jct. Turn south on US-89 to Kanab. There is only one stop light in Kanab; this is where US-89 changes to ALT 89. Fredonia, Arizona is 6 miles. In Fredonia take 89A to Jacob lake (36 miles), then take AZ 67 to the Grand Canyon North Rim park entrance.
Lodging and services are available on the gorgeous east side of Zion National Park, where guests are close to Zion National Park (12 miles), Bryce Canyon National Park (60 miles), Cedar Breaks National Monument (45 miles), Coral Pink Sand Dunes (12 miles), and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon (85 miles). It's where city traffic is absent and the skies are bright and clean.

North Rim Grand Canyon Location - The North Rim of the Grand Canyon is 85 miles from Mount Carmel Junction, which is located on the east side of Zion National Park.
