SR- 9 travels from the south entrance of Zion through the east entrance and another 12 miles to Mt. Carmel Junction where it intersects with US-89.

° US-89 - Utah Heritage Highway
US-89 travels from northern Utah to the border of Arizona and southern Utah. To combine speed and scenic beauty travel Interstate 15 and exit on highway 20. Follow US-89 to the intersection at byways 9 & 89 at Mount Carmel Junction.

° AZ 89 Alt begins where US-89 ends right before the Utah - Arizona border. This highway intersects Arizona SR-67 to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.

° SR-12 - Utah State Road 12
The All American HIghway
SR-12 intersects with US-89, taking traffic to Red Canyon and Bryce Canyon.

° SR-14 - Utah State Road 14
SR-14 travels over Cedar Mountain in Dixie National Forest. It intersects with seasonal highway 148.

° SR-67 - Arizona State Road 67
SR-148 travels from the junction with SR-14 on Cedar Mountain to Cedar Breaks National Monument and on to Brian Head Ski Resort.
