Hiking Zion Canyon
Zion Canyon - Zion Canyon is a six mile section of Zion National Park. Many of the classic, paved trails are found in the canyon and most visitors flock to these trails. From early April until late October, Zion Canyon is accessed via the Zion Canyon Shuttle, and the rest of the year the Zion Canyon Road can be traveled in your private vehicle. The Zion Canyon Shuttle picks up visitors at the Zion Canyon Visitors Centers and stops at several locations throughout lower Zion Canyon and Zion Canyon proper. Starting at the visitors enter the next stop is the Zion Human History Museum, Canyon Junction, Court of the Patriarchs, Zion Lodge, the Grotto, Weeping Rock and finally the Temple of Sinawava.

Kolob Hiking - There are two sections of the park called Kolob, one by Cedar City, Kolob Canyons, and another, Kolob Terrace , near the small town of Virgin. The Kolob areas are primitive sections of Zion National Park and few visitors venture to the gates compared to those that visit the main park of the park.
Backpacking in Zion National Park - Backpacking can be found in all three sections of the park.
