Zion Photo: Observation Point
Tanya at the summit of the Observation Point Trail. Marvelous views of Zion Canyon can be seen along much of this this hike as well as at the view point at the end of the trail.
The lofty Angels Landing monolith is seen from the top of Observation Point (6508')
with Cathedral Mountain peeking behind. If you have hiked Angels Landing you will
be amazed at how much higher you are (517') when standing at Observation Point.
Angels Landing looks tiny from the perspective of Observation Point. The Virgin River
is seen below forming Big Bend as it flows around the Organ,
Angels Landing and the fin that connect the two.
