North Kaibab Trail

This is a steep mule trail, with little shade. The trail begins about 1.5 miles from the lodge. Photo left shows a ranger led hike after waiting quietly for the mules and riders to pass by.

20 mile round trip with steep climbs. Start at the N. Kaibab trailhead parking area. The trail leeds though forest and long rim to Point Imperial. Trail. |

9.8 mile round trip with steep climbs with changes up to 650 feet. Start the hike 2.5 miles from the Lodge. |
