North Kaibab Trail


This is a steep mule trail, with little shade. The trail begins about 1.5 miles from the lodge. Photo left shows a ranger led hike after waiting quietly for the mules and riders to pass by.
Bright Angel Point Trail
Bright Angel Point Trail One mile round trip offering a great view of the canyon, starting at the lodge area.

Transcept Trail

3 mile round trip to a view of the side canyon, starting at the lodge area.
Uncle Jim Trail 4 mile round trip, starting from the Ken Patrick trailhead, you will find this trailhead along that hike. The trail is a loop that overlooks the upper sections of the North Kaibab trail
Ken Patrick Trail 20 mile round trip with steep climbs. Start at the N. Kaibab trailhead parking area. The trail leeds though forest and long rim to Point Imperial. Trail.

Widfress Trail

9.8 mile round trip with steep climbs with changes up to 650 feet. Start the hike 2.5 miles from the Lodge.

 

Scenic Byway 9 through Zion Park to Mt. Carmel Jct. is open year round. The Road to Bryce Canyon is open year round as well.
